Come and join us once again for all the fun of group sailing.

Meeting Place: Sandbanks at the lone tree as usual on Monday. Subsequently some may prefer to go to the car park at Lake Pier, Lake Drive, Hamworthy where parking is free and launching not so tide dependent. (Put the post code BH15 4LR into your satnav to get you to the end of the approach road.)

Parking rates at Sandbanks for 2017 were: £2 for 1 hour, £4 for 2 hours, £6 for 3 hours, £8 for 4 hours, £12 for 6 hours, If you do not have the cash for the pay machines you can pay by credit card over a mobile phone. The Fenn Lodge Hotel, popular for many years with our members has now converted from a hotel into self catering apartments. They offer short stay ie Monday to Friday, lets as well as full weeks.. The address is 11, Rosemount Rd, Alum Chine, Bournemouth. BH4 8HB. Tel. No 01202 761273. website.

For other accommodation see: http://www.pooletourism.com/stay/

Camping: over the last couple of years a number of Seavets have migrated to Huntick Farm.. It is probably the most friendly of camp sites. It is made up of three flat grass areas and we settled on pitches 7 - 15 inclusive (except 13 which is a willow tree). This is the smallest grass area and nearest to the shower and toilet block with no traffic through the middle. Tony Chandler has already informed the owners that there will be several of us as last year and maybe more. He has already book pitch 15. Pitches 7-11 get the sun in the morning and 12,14,15 in the evening.

Should you wish to stay here then please ring up and remember to do two things.
1) Say you are a windsurfing friend of Tony Chandler.
2) Over 60? Don't forget to mention this as there is a £1.50 per night pitch reduction. Tony has paid a deposit for the stay.
Check out their Huntick Farm Website for more details, or telephone 01202 622222
The only downside is that it is not on a bus route and there is no footpath down the road. It is possible to walk or cycle to the pub down a bridleway and then on back roads (keep both hands on the handlebars).
