largest (1100 acres) natural lake in the British Isles, and a very friendly club with all the
facilities; Bala is a very popular event in a beautiful location. We stay for the weekend
sometimes sailing on Friday for the early birds, perhaps cruising to the southern end of the lake. Racing on Saturday, and enjoying dinner together in the clubhouse on Saurday evening. If the weather allows short or long board sailing on Sunday.
The Bala Sailing Club is a little way down the B4403 from the eastern tip of the
lake & easily found just past the railway station for Bala Lake narrow gauge railway.
Sailing Club Website
